Lost Abbey Inferno Ale
Belgian Strong Pale Ale
8.5% ABV
Yum.
I'll be honest, after my less-than-stellar experience with the Track #8, I was not super enthusiastic when I saw that I would be drinking another Lost Abbey selection tonight. However, this beer, the Inferno Ale, restores my faith in Lost Abbey. It's got a bit of a hoppy zing -- as most Belgian Pale Ales do -- but it's not the kind of hoppiness I normally eschew. In other words, it's balanced. I noshed on some pickled veggies with this beer, and the acidity of the pickled veggies pairs well with the bitter edge on this beer.
