Belzebuth
Brasserie Grain d' Orge, France
Blonde Ale
8.5% ABV
The front of the Belzebuth bottle declares 'biere blonde refermentee en bouteille,' which seems to be French for 'bottle conditioned.' The Belzebuth is tasty, but I kind of drank it without noticing it. That's not the end of the world, but you might expect just a wee bit more out of an 8.5% ABV beer. Then again, it's leagues better than that terrible Lost Abbey Track #8 I had the other night.
That's sort of the problem with my 'Beers So Far' ranking. The gap between 1 & 2 is not the same width as the gap between 13 & 14. C'est la vie.
As for the Belzebuth: it's a perfectly lovely beer. But if choosing between this beer and the Fin Du Monde, go with the cheaper of the two.
